hello. my name is pearl and this is my blog about ballet..

•Passionate Dancers•

  • I'm a dancer (been dancing for years now) and I have realized that being an amazing dancer has nothing to do with how many turns you can do, how high you can get your leg, or how skinny you are. Dance is truly an art form and so much more than these things have to be applied. P A S S I O N. Dance means nothing without it. I would rather see a dancer who has passion and no technique than someone who has trained for years and shows no emotion or desire to be there.
  • Don't be hard on yourself for not being able to do 4 turns or hit that 6 o'clock. Everyone is different and when it's your time... it will be glorious. All the obstacles you face will make your success story so much better! So work your hardest and do what you love! That's a dancer!
  • “Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. Great dancers are great because of their passion.” - Martha Graham
